Neuroaffirming values need a practical framework.
GROW™ helps professionals translate identity, needs, communication and whole-system thinking into everyday formulation, support planning, collaboration and implementation.
Move from intention to observable practice.
Many professionals already value neuroaffirming practice. The difficulty appears when complex needs, risk, workload and system expectations shape real decisions. GROW™ provides a structured way to examine what behaviour may be communicating, how identity and communication access are being protected, which needs remain unmet, and what must change around the person.

One framework. Four connected practice lenses.
Grounded in Identity — Protect identity, dignity, belonging and authentic self-expression.
Responsive to Needs — Look beneath behaviour to understand sensory, emotional, environmental and relational needs.
Open to Communication — Treat communication differences, AAC, movement, scripting, gesture and behaviour as meaningful.
Whole Person, Whole System — Examine relationships, environments, policies and systems—not only the individual.
