About Grow Therapy Services

At Grow Therapy Services, we are fiercely committed to doing therapy differently. We believe growth emerges when people feel safe, seen and supported — authentically. That’s why our work is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming and deeply human.

Located in the heart of the Pilbara, WA, and extending across Australia, our practice is led by lived experience, grounded in professional expertise and powered by heart.

Neurodivergent practitioner

Our Story

Hi there, my name is Carol and I am thrilled that you have landed on our page!

As a seasoned Disability Specialist, Play Therapist, Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, and Inclusion Advocate, I have dedicated my career to creating a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families.

As a Neurodivergent Practitioner, and a proud mother and wife of a neurodiverse family, I have a unique perspective on the importance of inclusion and celebrating differences, while also balancing individual and family values.

Through the establishment of Grow Therapy Services and The Inclusive Movement, I have made it my mission to provide safe and neuro-affirming support services and developmental guidance for individuals and families.

My services are designed to encourage individuals to embrace their individuality while emphasising the importance of learning through activities that bring them joy!

Education-wise, I hold a degree in Disability and Developmental Education, Counselling and Personal Training, along with extensive theoretical and practical professional development, making me well-equipped to offer high-quality support across a range of areas.

Some of the additional areas I have trained in include;

  • Graduate Certificate – Childhood Trauma

  • Professional Certificate – Positive Behaviour Support Practices

  • Clinical Play Therapist Training

  • Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP)

  • Circle of Security Facilitator Trainer

  • Foundation TeamTeach Behaviour Support Trainer

  • Mental Health First Aid

  • Zones of Regulation

  • Social Thinking, We Are Thinkers

  • Key Word Sign

  • Child Development & Paediatric Movement

  • Self Reg Foundations and Facilitator

My passion areas include working with children and families of neurodivergence (particularly ASD and ADHD), childhood trauma and mental health.

We believe growth happens when people feel safe, seen, and supported.

Our Vision

OUR APPROACH

A world where everyone — especially neurodivergent individuals and their families — feels valued, connected and empowered. Where learning, belonging and growth are not contained within therapy rooms, but live in everyday life.

Move • Play • Connect

We embrace the Māori concept Takiwatanga — being supported in one’s own time and space.

We believe meaningful growth happens through movement, play, curiosity and connection. Instead of rigid programs, we create dynamic, interest-led experiences where learning comes naturally.

Whether it’s through firetrucks, horses, music or board games — we meet people where they are and grow with them.

As a neuro-divergent-led service, we understand that traditional therapy models don’t always fit. We intentionally create flexible, non-judgmental, and safe spaces where individuals and families can explore strengths, identity and connection on their terms.

Why We Do It

We believe therapy is not about “fixing” — it’s about growing. It’s about building belonging, resilience, self-understanding and agency. It’s about individuals and families blossoming in a world that often expects them to change to fit. We’re here to turn that on its head.
We don’t do therapy to people — we grow with them.
Meet The Team

Meet the Team

Our multidisciplinary team bring a rich blend of lived experience, specialist training and personal passions. We match individuals to practitioners who “get them” — because growth is personal and relational.
Whether you are drawn to movement, gaming, nature, music or community — there’s someone here who will see you, not just a diagnosis.

We're Looking for Neuroaffirming Clinicians!

We’re small — by design — because we’re building something big.

Grow Therapy Services is entering a new chapter — and we’re inviting values-aligned clinicians to help us shape the future of neuroaffirming practice across Australia.

We believe therapy should feel human. Real. Flexible. Inclusive.

It should honour identity, embrace difference, and empower both practitioners and participants to show up as their authentic selves.

If you’ve ever felt like you don’t fit within the traditional allied health system — maybe it’s because you were meant to help build a new one.

Join the Movement — Work Differently with Grow Therapy Services

We’re not just hiring — we’re reimagining what therapy can be.
