We're Going on a Bear Hunt Themed Lesson and Communication Bundle

Turn a familiar animal adventure into a complete 60-minute communication and play session. This downloadable bundle helps clinicians, educators, parents and carers prepare and facilitate the session with one child, a family or a small group.
 
The session follows a predictable sequence of welcome, music and movement, shared reading, sensory play and a calm goodbye. Activities include a Bear Hunt movement course, kinetic sand discovery and animal feeding play. The matching communication mat supports words and concepts such as bear, go, stop, walk, outside, in, out, up, down, help, wait, scared, again and finished.
Participation is invitational. A child can join by watching, choosing, moving, directing an adult, using AAC, taking a break or finishing. The parent handout extends the same communication and play ideas into everyday routines without turning home practice into a checklist. The book is sold separately.
